Telling stories through technology
I’m doing the IPA Excellence Diploma, an exhaustive 18 month course that covers all aspects of brands and branding, the idea being that we emerge after 18 months blinking into the harsh sunlight of a full understanding of how communications actually works.
This is the first essay I completed on the course and is a look at how I think we should go about building brands in a complicated cultural context. It focuses on the role that technology will play and asks what happens when our traditional methods of telling stories collides with new technologies.
